One meta-analysis of prospective cohort studies (1) demonstrated high self‐reported PA was protective against the emergence of agoraphobia (AOR=0.42; 95% CI=0.18, 0.98).

Limited evidence from moderate to high quality prospective cohort studies shows that PA can be helpful in agoraphobia.
